After being sick for a long time, I was finally able to get back on track with my workout routines this week. And it was hard! I didn’t think that a couple of days of being sick would have such an impact. Or better: Probably I thought I was already better than I actually were health-wise.
The HIIT workouts I do are hard and sometimes I feel like I want to slow down but I can pull through. Sometimes I feel like I want to stop but I keep going. But this week I actually had to pause a couple of times and after one specific workout I needed a long time to recover. Longer than usually. This was such a new experience for me. I think I have not struggled as much with working out for years. It felt overwhelming!
I know coming week will be easier again and given that I am right on track with my weight loss now I am even more motivated to keep it up.
