Forces Of Nature

Earth and sky, woods and field, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books. – John Lubbock

Earth, wind, fire and air…

No matter if it’s the sun, the wind, a fire, an electric storm, rain, heat or cold. Nature can show its power in so many different ways. As beautiful as nature can be, as harsh and brutal the flip-side can be. It’s why I respect nature and its beauty. There is so much to see and to enjoy. But the power behind every little beautiful thing can be enormous and overwhelming too.

  1. When we lived in Virginia we had a large window in our living room and a farm field across the road. Our favorite thing to do would be to turn out all the lights and sit and watch the storms roll in and roll through. It was seriously impressive. Love the photos!
