Have you ever been in love? Truly, madly, deeply? Are you still in love? Truly, madly, deeply? If yes, would you like to share your story with me? I’ve received many posts so far from my readers to share here with all of you in my feature ‘Couples‘. I’m wondering about your story? Tell us, please. Nothing better than a beautiful love story…
It’s simple. Just write it down and email it to me (amommasview@gmail.com). If you like you can even add pictures to it. I will then schedule it on this blog and link back to your blog. Feel free to tell the story of your parents if you think it’s a better fit. Or your grandparents, uncle, auntie, cousin… you name it.

I’ll try and send our story to you later today. And, yes, we are still very much in love, even after 23 years.

I love the first quote. Love is a choice. We decide whether or not we stay in love or not. Love is worth holding onto, but sadly, so often, people let it slip away.

Yes. I often wonder why couples split up so often nowadays. Is it because it’s easier to get together in the first place and you don’t have to go through heaps and heaps of obstacles? Or is it because we get what we think we want faster, without having the time to realize what we actually want and if the other person is actually what we want? Or is it because we want more quicker because we can kind of get it all? And then we can throw it all away because that’s easier too in our days and just the way we handle everything that doesn’t seem to work anymore? …

I think those are all the right. To add to your list, I think that a lot of people don’t take relationships seriously anymore. It’s more of a game than a commitment

Yes. The commitment lacks. It’s all just easy. Easy in, easy out. No more putting work into something that should last. Sad actually…

I was in love once. I thought it was real but he turned out to be less than what he presented himself to be and I spent 10 years trying to get away from his abusive. The one good thing that came form this relationship was my son. He is fabulous! My son John is smart, handsome, creative, very kind and loving. He is the most focused person I have ever met. He decided what he wanted to do with his life when he was 7 and is making it happen for himself. I always said I wanted a son but not necessarily a husband! So it worked out!! We are both safe and happy.

That’s the main thing. People come into our life for a reason and maybe the reason you got together with this man is your son. Happy for you that it worked out in that way. For me and if you like to this would be a good story too for ‘Couples’…
