I’m looking for bloggers (people in general) that have been home-schooled and would share their experience in a guest post on my blog. As a homeschooling parent I’m always interested in hearing the other side. There were a couple of my readers who’ve mentioned that they were home-schooled but unfortunately I can’t find the comments and don’t remember who it was. I’m sure home schooling has come a long way since the late 50’s and early 60’s when my mother used Calvert Courses in Alaska to teach my sisters and I in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I was young (1st grade) and don’t remember much about it, but I am sure it was not an easy venture for her. There is no way I could have followed in her footsteps. ~Elle

I went to a formal school but I have always been curious about homeschooling
