  1. It’s also built in one of the most active earthquake prone areas. So if it fails, maybe the release will compensate for some of that lost inertia. It has potential to be greatest clamity in human history .

  2. It makes you wonder what the leaders and business owners are thinking. We they continue until there is nothing left. This is a shared earth that belongs to no one and everyone at the same time. Every person living on this planet is responsible for its safety and the health of future generations. Thank you for sharing. Praying for our Mother Earth!

  3. Jean-Jacques Rousseau said it best: “The first man who, having enclosed a piece of land, thought of saying “This is mine” and found people simple enough to believe him, was the true founder of civil society. How many crimes, wars, murders; how much misery and horror the human race would have been spared if someone had pulled up the stakes and filled in the ditch and cried out to his fellow men: “Beware of listening to this imposter. You are lost if you forget that the fruits of the earth belong to everyone and that the earth itself belongs to no one.”

    • That is so very true… I guess it’s too late now. And yet there’s always hope. Maybe one day we realize that the planet not only belongs to all of us but also to our future generations.

  4. I didn’t know that yet I have to ask…Would it have been better if they had built another coal-fired or nuclear power plant instead? Who can say what would be the lesser of all these evil alternatives?
