The Quote Challenge Inspired By My Readers – Day 1

Here we go again, another round of the Quote Challenge. This time it was Estelea’s Blog that invited me to join in. I love her blog and the stories she has to tell. An expat, a mom and living in what most of us definitely would consider paradise and also a humanitarian. She truly has a lot to offer. So head over and check out her blog, if you don’t know her yet. And if you do: Head over anyway πŸ˜‰

The rules are pretty easy:

  • Post 3 quotes over 3 days
  • Invite 3 bloggers each time to carry on with the challenge

To make this a little bit special, I have decided to use quotes that were mentioned to my by my readers over the time. Yes, I safe them!

I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I’m not sure you realize that what you heard was not what I meant. – Alan Greenspan

Mentioned to me by the first blogger I’d like to invite to participate in the Quote Challenge, Pensitivity101, back in May in a comment to my post “Do You Hear What I Hear?”

    • Yup, same here… and still happening. I actually got to the point where I thought that I lack the ability to properly express myself until I realized that the other person just doesn’t want to hear what I’m saying…

      • Yes, me too. I finally came to the conclusion that they were hearing what they were used to hearing in the past. It wasn’t until they learned me better, that they began to hear more ‘clearly’.
