This apparently just got banned in Australia by the Advertising Standards Bureau. It was ruled that “it wasn’t funny and portrayed violence”…
Not sure what you think about it, but I think it’s actually rather clever and funny advertising…

I’m shocked to learn that in Australia you have such a thing as an Advertising Standards Bureau. Let’s hear a cheer for our first amendment protecting freedom of speech.

HaHA! I LOVE it! It appeals to my sense of humour and playing with words. I think the Australian Advertising Agency needs to lighten up a bit, but I am sure most other countries would probably be the same, nowadays. š

I think this is absolutely brilliant. Just goes to show that some of TPTB have no sense of humour and have to pass their misery on to all of us under ‘legislation’.

Come on ! They simply have their panties in a bunch over nothing. That’s just hilarious š Then again some of these people don’t have any sense of humour.

I think it’s brilliant advertising for a photographer. After all is said and done the Australian Advertising Standards Board have taken pc to a new depth.

Your government doesn’t have enough problems if this is what it has time to concern itself with.

I have a pretty dark and sarcastic sense of humor, so I got a chuckle out of it.

I think the play on words is quite funny. Although I do realize I’m not the target of the joke which can make the difference between finding something funny or viewing it as offensive.
It’s interesting how controversial humor can be. What one person finds as funny, another might consider it as problematic. One example is the Australia Day Lamb video. It caused an uproar for several reasons, one of which was when they had someone with a flamethrower scorch a bowl of vegetables in a vegan’s apartment. Since I’m not vegan, it’s easy enough to laugh but someone who is might very well tire of being poked at with humor.
Humor, at times it’s like a porcupine: sometimes hard to grasp and can definitely jab you if you’re aren’t careful.

That is very clever advertising and appropriate to the industry. What a shame.
