I seriously only just discovered this fun challenge and thought it would be great to just do it. As we are already in week 12 I figured I go all the way back and start answering all questions already been asked. But I start with the most recent one. Bonus question all the way at the end. So here we go:
Wanting something to quench your thirst, what would you drink?
Water with lemon in it. Or lime. Always. I love water… sometimes maybe a homemade ice tea.
What made you feel good this past week?
Solving some problems in my volunteer position. But most of all and always: Spending time with my family.
When you’re alone at home, do you wear shoes, socks, slippers, or go barefoot?
Usually barefoot. As we are now heading into the cold time of the year I might change to wearing socks. Not sure how cold it gets in our new home yet… But shoes definitely always come off before getting inside.
How many siblings do you have? What’s your birth order?
I have one younger brother.
In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?
I do like to be the passenger on long drives. Love enjoying the view and let my thoughts wander…
When you lose electricity in a storm, do you light the candles or turn on the flashlight? How many of each do you own?
Definitely candles as I always have them standing around. I would have to go chase the flashlights and frankly, I have no clue how many there are…
List at least five of your favorite types of animals? (any animal to domestic to wild to marine life)
Oh, I love all of them. Horses, dogs, cats (wild and domestic, big or small), dolphins, whales, bears, pumas, deer… you name it…
What would you ask for if a genie granted you three wishes?
Happiness and health.
What experiences are most meaningful to you?
Experiences we all make together, as a family. You always learn from everything. Traveling for sure is top of the list of experiences.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I remember that at one point I wanted to be a superhero. Then a veterinarian. At one point a magician. At one point I wanted to be the scientist or discoverer who would find the Titanic, but that dream got shattered when they found it. Then I wanted to be the first female Bundesrat (one of 7 top politicians in Switzerland) but that one got shattered too when another woman got elected before I even was old enough to really consider going into politics… And I also wanted to be a princess…

Daily Life List: What do you do on an average day? Make a list of your usual activities you do each day.
Household chores, walking the dogs, spending time with the kids, cooking, blogging, taking care of what has to be done for my volunteer position, working out… Hugging, kissing, talking… Oh boy, there is too much to put it in a list 😉

Finally got back into working out. And hopefully let my family know how much they mean to me…

I lived in multiple places in Switzerland before moving to Australia. Have moved house here a couple of time and form suburb to suburb but stuck to the city we moved to.

Decide which charity to donate too and set up trusts for the kids. And then go from there.

I’m grateful for having all those fantastic people in my life. My family, my friends. Last week I became aware again of what amazing friends I have. And I’m very thankful for this. Always.
