Blogger Meet & Greet

I love meeting new people! And nothing better than socialising on a weekend. So how about a little meet & greet?

The rules are simple:

  • Introduce your blog and put the link to your most favourite post in the comments.
  • Please reblog this little invitation so that we can get as many bloggers over here to mix and mingle as possible.
  • Play nice and visit some of your fellow bloggers that have left their links.

Now let’s have fun, read some great posts and meet some new bloggers 🙂

  1. Reblogged this on good, beautiful and true and commented:
This opportunity for a blogger meet and greet is the perfect starting point to share some thoughts from the past few days. After blogging for only a few short weeks I have come to love the community and the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. I love encouragement from like minded folks and being challenged, with all goodwill and friendship, by those who see the world differently than I do. Hope you can join in on the fun here.

  2. This is particularly good timing because I just did a post on blogging tips that actually includes the links to blog parties, linky parties, meet and greets – all kinds of networking opportunities – and you’re on the list as a thank you for all the lovely networking gifts you give us bloggers! 🙂 https://yadadarcyyada.com/2016/05/13/with-or-without-you/
My name is Donna and I blog about just about everything over at https://yadadarcyyada.com
Please pop over, stay a spell, you might never want to leave! 😉
Hope this weekend is being kind to everyone. Now I’m off to visit you all and to share, of course. 🙂

  3. Dear Momma, thank you so much for inviting your fellow bloggers to leave their name card on your hall table. My blog is where I enjoy telling stories, true stories that I feel need to be heard. I can write what I like, how I like and when I like. We are invited to link to favourite story and so, if you won’t mind a Christmass theme, then I offer you “All is Calm, All is Bright. https://matteringsofmind.wordpress.com/2012/12/23/all-is-calm-all-is-bright/ I hope you enjoy it. I look forward to reading your posts.

  4. What a wonderful way to connect with others who are using this forum to sort out and/or share the thoughts in their own souls!

I have three blog sites … one is focused upon shifting our perceptions from fear towards love. I am a counselor and life coach and often share personal and professional insights. One of the most read blogs on this site is ” A Tragic Misunderstanding” – https://miraclesinc.wordpress.com/2014/11/16/nourishment-for-my-senstitive-soul/.

I think one of my favorites … albeit the one that makes me feel most vulnerable and exposed is “You are Not What You Look Like” https://miraclesinc.wordpress.com/2013/07/08/you-are-not-what-you-look-like/

Anyway … I also have a blog dedicated to honoring the people in the world for whom I am better because of … 🙂 Again, one of my most revealing and heartfelt blog was to my mother. Suffice to say it was not a Hallmark relationship …but I owe her so much. https://betterbecauseofyoublog.wordpress.com/2014/04/13/god-heaven-and-hell-better-because-of-you-mom/

And … the third blog is “Live a Great Life Anyway”. Lots of posts intended to inspire us in overcoming our adversities. One of the first posts was a metaphor about the oyster making a pearl out of the grain of sand that was irritating it. https://liiveagreatlifeanyway.wordpress.com/2015/09/27/are-you-cultivating-a-pearl-or-cursing-the-pain/

Anyway …sorry for taking us so much space. I love the idea of connecting with others and will take some time to look up the blogs that are posted!

    With warmest smiles, Karen

  5. Hello,
My name is Jane and I blog about our unexpected journey to adoption. My adopted daughter Star is brilliant, beautiful and brave, she also happens to have Down Syndrome. I love reading and seeing photos of places I have never been. I love reading people’s stories. My favourite stories are usually about honest faith during hard times and hope. I would be honoured if you would visit my blog and I look forward to visiting yours. My most recent post is:

  6. Thanks for this opportunity!

So what can I say about myself….well, my name is Vic (that is always a good start). My blog started out as a mental health blog but has evolved into posting about family, daily life, food and poetry (I don’t claim it is good but I am giving it a shot). Pretty much I talk about what is on my mind.

As far as a “favorite” post…that is a tough one, so perhaps I will drop in a post to see if I can reel you in and get you to want to read more! This post is one of my highest views (both last year and this year) so let me know what you think!

  7. What a wonderful way to connect with fellow writers and poets.

A man with a heart and a poet from heart. That’s how I would describe myself in a single line.

Here;s the link to my blog titled as Straight from heart
    https://straightthroughheart.wordpress.com/

For me, all my poems are like my babies and it is very difficult to chose one. So, I’ll leave it to fellow readers/ writers and take this opportunity to invite them to my blog. Welcome to the world of words. Happy reading. God Bless.

  8. This is a great way to meet new bloggers! Thanks for hosting it!

You can find me over at https://nikisthoughts.wordpress.com/ writing about my life as an Army wife, transported from my home state of Texas all the way to Upstate New York for the next couple of years. Every once in a while I’ll write about a craft I’m working on or a Pinterest project I want to try, or a funny story from work (substituting elementary kids and cashier at K-Mart.)

And speaking of crafts, I posted this last night, if you want to check it out: https://nikisthoughts.wordpress.com/2016/05/14/i-know-how-to/

  9. I am looking forward to checking out all of these wonderful looking blogs!

My blog is a little bit of everything. From stories about true life experiences involving people and animals to thoughts and reflections on life. My ultimate goal is to refine my writing skills and find a niche in doing what I most love to do-write!!

I have been slow at getting my blog up and going, but so far I have to say that my two posts about my much beloved and missed cat, Shadow, has been my favorite.

My blog is titled “Wisdom From A Fluffy Girl.” Fluffy is my term for full-figured. 🙂 I started blogging in June 2014 as a challenge to share my experiences, thoughts, observation and wisdom with the world.
