Have I told you that I left my camera once at the airport on our way home from visiting friends in WA? I did… and I lost it. It never showed up anymore… I hope someone is happy with it now. Fortunately I took the card out and did not lose any pictures. That would have been even worse. And thankfully my friend did not send me the beautiful handmade (and Heartmade) strap yet.
My husband surprised me with a new camera soon after. He made my day then. It has traveled a fair bit with me so far and it’s a good companion capturing all those beautiful moments for me. Needless to say that I’m much more careful now. I would even go as far as saying that I will never leave it behind anymore…

That’s really lucky you didn’t hv any pictures in there, Sandra! Losing a camera sucks as it is. I lost mine (my parents’) a long time ago (stolen) with all the pictures still in there and I remember how that felt! 😦

I usually put my pics on my computer every evening. Just because I don’t want to lose them. I was lucky then!

At least I did a smart thing putting my card in my pocket… Leaving the camera there, however, was pretty stupid… We all make mistakes and I’m glad there were no pics on there.

First of all, it sucks to lose something so valauble, but to lose all that work. Smart of you to have taken out the card. Very nice shots!

I had mine stolen while I was in Costa Rica. Technically it was my mom’s old Pentax k1000.

Oh… and all the pictures gone of course? I mean, it hurts to lose the camera but for me it hurts even more if the pictures are gone too.

The trip had just started. We had only been there 2 days of our planned 12. All I lost were pictures of the first town we stayed in. Fortunately both friends I with each had a camera.
