Tell Me Something Good #14

I hope you had a fantastic weekend and lots of positive things to share today. I can’t tell you enough how much these Tell Me Something Good comments of yours make me smile. They actually give me lots of energy for the new week. So please keep it coming!

It would make me super happy if you would share the link to this on your blogs or write a post about something that made you feel especially good this week and link it back to this post. I think a lot of people need something positive to start off the week, especially after what was going on over the last week.

So why not make them come over and read lots of positive things or make them think about that one positive moment? Sometimes it truly only takes one thing to make you feel better. It’s something I learned a long time ago: When you go to bed, no matter how bad your day was, try to come up with one thing that makes your day a good day or even the best day ever. And then think about this one thing. You will immediately feel a very different kind of energy.

Before we start let’s hug a little. Hugs are amazing. And if you are by yourself while reading this, just hug yourself. Yep, you can totally do that…

Are you done hugging? Are you sure? Go ahead, do another round. We are in no rush… and when you are ready, let’s get back to telling me something good:

  • Mention something that you consider being good in the comments.
  • Or write a post about it on your blog (please link it to this page so I don’t miss out and to be sure that everyone gets to read it share the link in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something you are looking forward to. Something that makes you feel good. Whatever comes to your mind, as long as it’s good!
  • Share this post and invite your followers to take part in it too.

This is about sharing something positive…

And here’s what I’d like to share with you today:

“Our girls played an amazing game of soccer yesterday. Although they lost they gave it their all. And that’s what it’s all about. Giving the very best you can. It’s all you can truly do. What I really loved was seeing how much they put into the game. Although being slightly disappointed after the match, they were still happy with how they played. And so they should. As always they were giggling afterwards and left happy.”

  1. Last night I enjoyed the most magnificent sunset in our part of the world. (You might even have seen it too). It was a beautiful way to end a gorgeous day which included a short steep walk up at Kinglake.
Have a happy week Sandra xo 🙂

  3. I just enjoyed a wonderful cup of coffee! 🙂 I don’t know why but I always enjoy this special start to the day, and when I put myself to sleep in the evening I find myself looking forward to it 😀 😀 What I think is good about it is how simple and mundane it is and yet if makes you FEEL good.

  4. I have a couple of good things:

It’s rained recently over here, so my front yard isn’t so crunchy brown. There’s actually some green grass peeking through. 🙂

Yesterday, I fixed a part of one of my off-line stories that’s been bugging me for the past couple months. And today, I wrote three new parts for my on-line story on my account. 🙂 It’s the little things that make me happy.

  5. We went to an outdoor concert and the band (comprised of 6 kids between the ages of 5 and 14) played Celtic music and was so good we stayed to watch even though it was raining. We then bought their CD and got the 6 kids to sign it!

  6. This is an amazing idea! Sorry for just seeing this and posting…but, better late than never. I was blessed with the visit of my son on Monday. He came from Nashville and is spending the week. I’ve been able to enjoy his wonderful jokes and laughter. He will leave early tomorrow morning to travel back home. But, the memories will always remain. 🙂
