I never heard of this technique – but my cousin had nose surgery and was told to push his tongue on the roof of his mouth – and this can stop a sneeze if u catch it early – I tried it and it works too!

Since yawns are contagious, would you suggest touching someone else’s tongue to stop the spread. Crowded restaurant, person at next table starts a yawn and you volunteer, saying “let me get that for you,” as you reach across the space.

Yes, I’ve also noticed if I see someone else yawn, I’ll suddenly have the urge to yawn as well…weird 🙂
