The Fairy Tree

My daughter was convinced that fairies must live in or around this over gown leftover of what once was a tree. When we are out in the forest hiking we make up fairy stories and discover parts where they could live, bits of the forest which could be fairy houses, fairy playgrounds and so on.

Don’t you think fairies could live here? It’s a magic place. And the different shades of green against the dark wood make it even more magical. Trees standing tall, as if they were guarding a magic kingdom.

And then, just around the next corner you discover the perfect fairy house…

Wouldn’t that make for a perfect little Halloween adventure out in the forest?

Only discovered Jennifer Nichole Well’s fun Halloween Photo Challenge late. Way too late!

  1. A few years ago I was working in Port Fairy at the western end of the Great Ocean Road in Victoria and we would tell children that it was the birth place of the Tooth Fairy – always loved watching their beautiful faces.
