I can feel your hugs across the ocean and the miles, even over the mountains and through the woods! You are a great mom. I’ll tell you that just in case you don’t hear it from your kids. That realization is one that comes later, and sometimes not soon enough, for all of us who have taken on the role and duties and responsibilities of being that best mom we can be.

Sometimes, especially if they’re stubborn like mine, it might be well beyond the teenage years, if ever, that you hear them say it again. In case of this possibility, there is another saying: The older I get, the wiser my mom becomes!
