Share Your World – 2016: Week 45

I often think that in our society we got to a point where we overshare. We post every tiny thing on any social media platform, share pictures of meals, family and thing we would like to buy online. We let people know when we leave the house, for how long and with whom. People often don’t understand how you can keep from taking part in this show and tell game. They question you for not putting everything out there, they almost demand you to do or they label you as not happy or content if you don’t rub your happiness, fake or real, under everyone’s nose. Sometimes it seems like we’ve lost that keeping a private diary attitude.

This here though is different. Cee’s Share Your World Challenge is more about our thoughts, our takes on things. That’s why I really like it so much.

Describe your own outlook on life in seven words or less. (NOTE:  does not  have to be a sentence.)

 

Where do you like to vacation?
Definitely in Hawaii but honestly there are so many fantastic places we’ve been to already and places we are yet to discover. I think it’s about who you discover them with more than the places itself. Spending time in Hawaii though is for sure one of the most amazing things to do.

Candy factories (sweets or treats including chocolate) of the entire world have become one and will now be making only one kind of candy. Which kind, if you were calling the shots?
Chocolate! There is no way to live a life without chocolate. Forget all the other candies. As long as there is chocolate… So don’t you dare taking my chocolate away from me…

 

Complete this sentence: Something that anyone can do that will guarantee my smile is… 
I so totally wanted to write a long paragraph here but the one thing I can say is: Being genuinely kind to someone. A genuine smile, a long honest hug and of course when kids laugh so hard they can hardly stop anymore 🙂

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? 
As always for my wonderful family and the amazing friends we all have in our lives. I’m also really grateful that we got to enjoy some beautiful, sunny and warm spring days over the last week. It feels good to feel the warm sun while listening to the birds sing.
