Tell Me Something Good #32

Image result for quote a positive start into the day

Let’s put some effort into creating a good week and kick start it with a positive thought on your Monday morning. Let’s do it! Let’s kick off the week on a positive note!

It’s easy:

  • Mention something that you consider being good in the comments
  • Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something good you know will happen soon. Something that makes you feel good.
  • Share this post and invite your followers as well.

Before I tell you something good that has happened in my life I’d like to invite you all to a little chat. You know sometimes all we need is someone to talk to. Just chat. Have a little conversation, tell them something good, maybe even about your dreams.

Take your time. Keep going if you like, chat for as long as you like.

And when you are ready here’s what I’d like to share with you today:

“Today is the first really hot day in this summer. Temperatures are set to go up to 38C here. Normally it would be a perfect day to head to the beach, even if it is a Monday. But I decided to take the kids on our favorite hike again. It’s not too far away so school and a hike can go along perfectly fine. I was ready to deal with the heat up there too but was pleasantly surprised when a cool breeze welcomed us. It was just a perfect day in the woods. We’re back home now and truly grateful for the A/C that keeps the house cool. The temperatures will drop again massively over night and for the rest of the week we will be back to anything between 17 and 20C. Although dealing with those pretty big temperature changes sometimes seems a bit annoying, I’m still also grateful for them. I don’t know if I could cope with weeks and weeks of extremely hot weather…”

  1. You are so Right. Sometimes, all we need, is a Friend/even Stranger, to chat with, to share our stories, our feelings. It gets so lonely sometimes. Boring I might also say!! Doing something you don’t like, waiting for the fresh break to come !!

  2. I agree with you Sandra. I love the heat but also welcomed the cool change. I’ve just said goodbye to my 15yo son who has a week long survival camp in the Otways, I’m glad he doesn’t have to walk in sweltering temperatures all week.

  5. LOVED this video and had many laughs, thank you! Today I awoke with enthusiasm because my Yoga class is today. I made sure I had plenty of time so I would not have to rush and OH how nice that was! I actually had time to fiddle with my makeup. A rarity. LOL Beautiful post!! 🙂 ❤

  6. I’m late-since its Tuesday-but my good thing is, I have the whole day to write and catch up on increasing my word count for NaNoWriMo. And I’m listening to 90’s music in the background, so when I take breaks I can dance around the house with my doggies. 🙂
