Share Your World – February 13th, 2017

Today seems to be all about answering question after my reblog earlier today. But hey, why not, right? When I saw Cee’s today I knew I had answered them before when tackling the 100 Questions Nobody Ever Asks challenge a couple of months back. Not a big deal. I often wonder how Cee can come up with challenging questions week after week. I mean there is only that much you can possibly ask. Thinking about it one question popped up in my mind: When you cut something with scissors, do you move your jaw (as if you were about to chew)?

Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?
There is usually no sheet on our bed. Just a blanket. The reason is that I truly don’t like tucked in sheets to sleep in. I have to “un-tuck” them in order to feel comfortable. My feet need to be able to stick out on the side, so if there is a sheet I like it to be tucked in on the bottom but not on the side. I think I would have been the baby that would have hated it to have been neatly tucked in a blanket. Only looking at pictures makes me feel claustrophobic! Needless to say that I never even tried to wrap my children up like this one.

Have you stolen a street sign before?
I have not stolen one myself but I have been given one. In Switzerland it’s some sort of tradition that you get a street sign for a round birthday (speed limit sign). So when you turn 30 you would get one for 30 and so on. Someone at some point has taken it down somewhere and then it sort of makes the round. Some people keep it and some pass it on, I don’t remember exactly what it’s all about. I passed mine on.

Do you cut out coupons but then never use them?
I tend to use the ones I cut out. Sometimes though I forget to cut them out and then of course they go unused…

Do you have freckles?
Yes. And I love them. I remember that one encounter when a woman told me that she feels sorry for me and the sun damage my skin has. She thought my freckles were due to the sun… I always had them and they are part of me and have nothing to do with sun damage.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  This week I’m very grateful for a conversation I had with a friend of ours. It made me realize that I’m not alone in a situation and that there are people out there who truly understand what I’m going through.
