Week after week Cee comes up with thought provoking questions for her Share Your World Challenge. Sometimes I wonder if there will be anymore questions unanswered but obviously there are. If you have not checked out her Q&A yet, I highly recommend it. And now, let’s get the questions answered 😉
Was school easy or difficult for you? How so?
I always loved going to school. There was one thing though I didn’t really enjoy and it was the teasing of the kids in regards to my hair color. I love watching kids, listening to their giggling and see them play. It seems so peaceful. But kids can be brutal too. Sometimes they don’t even mean it. And I still honestly believe that it had nothing to do with bullying. It was just what they heard and what they made of it. I was told that only witches have red hair and it stuck. It stuck so much that I went to the hair dresser one day and told her that I want to color my hair. She was this lady with the bright fake red hair. A lovely person. I still remember her puzzled look when she asked me why I would want to do that. I told her that the kids were teasing me and she told me that they were simply jealous. Jealous of my beautiful and special hair color. A color so many of her clients were trying to get but back then they were not able to recreate all those different shades and so it was simply impossible. She gave me so much confidence back then and I will forever be grateful for this.
List some of your favorite types of animals.
I love all animals (not too keen on spiders to be honest). Horses did always have a special place in my heart. But so did dogs and cats. Even birds. It’s really hard to pick. I love dolphins, whales and lady bugs too. So you know what: How about my favorite animal is simply an animal 😉
What is your favorite large city you have been to? What is the one thing you remember most?
I love New York City but I’m also totally in love with Hong Kong. Both of them are so crazy huge but so vibrant. And I love Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro too. I guess I need to go to Tokyo too soon (for some reason this song always pops in my mind when I mention the big cities I’ve been to…).
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
As I have mentioned in my Tell Me Something Good post this week, the girls in my daughter’s dance school and of course my daughter inspired me this week. Their grace, their commitment and the beauty of their dances were just stunning to watch.
