It’s Tuesday and I’m in the mood of answering some questions. Questions, Cee comes up with for her Share Your World Challenge. You should check it out if you have not done so yet. It’s a lot of fun. There are basically no rules. You can share pictures if you like but you don’t have to. All you do is answer her questions. Easy, right?
If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?
Cleaning. And maybe yard work as well. I did not even have to think hard about the answer. I enjoy cooking too much to hire someone to do it. Or better we all enjoy cooking and therefor if I don’t feel the urge to cook either my husband or now my son will cook something. The cleaning is a different story and I often think how nice it would be to have someone come in once every two weeks and do the full on cleaning so I can just to the maintain it all clean part. I just finished cleaning actually and it’s so nice when the house is clean. But the windows are not done, the oven is in desperate need of a proper clean and I have my shortcuts when it comes to dusting… so sometimes I wish it could all be done magically 😉
If you were to move and your home came fully furnished with everything you ever wanted, list at least three things from your old house you wish to retain?
My photo books, the CDs and DVDs, Laptop and my coffee machine. Otherwise I’m open for everything. Not sure if my kids would agree with me but hey, you never know…
What calms you down?
My husband. Not always though… Sometimes he makes me lose my patience (he would claim I don’t have a lot of it…). But he is the one who gets me to breathe deeper and relax when things don’t go the way they should and I freak out.
Then of course there is the walk along the ocean. The beach. Watching and listening to the waves always calms me down. Same with a walk in the forest. Nature is calming and I love to be out there. There are is so much beauty out there and I believe that the more you go out there, the more you immerse yourself in nature, the more peace you get out of it.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
We had a very intense weekend catching up with new and old friends and it was wonderful and exhausting at the same time. Time flies when you spend it in good company, glasses empty quick and conversations flow. This basically sums up my entire weekend. And it was simply put wonderful 🙂
