Tell Me Something Good #92

I know I’m late to my Monday party once again but, boy, what a Monday it was!!! A Monday when you just do your best to keep going and do one thing after another for hours and hours. Don’t get me wrong. It was a fantastic day but when you get to the point where you don’t see faces anymore you know you’ve tried to help heaps of people… it’s still time to kick off the week on a positive note. So let’s do it!

It’s easy:

• Mention something that you consider being good in the comments

• Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something good you know will happen soon. Something that makes you feel good.

• Share this post and invite your followers as well.

Before I share my good thing let’s do another happy dance. As you know I love my happy dances and so I decided to just keep doing it. Hope you’re having heaps of fun!

And when you are ready I’d like to share my positive thought with you.

“Kill ’em with kindness my husband said Sunday evening in preparation for my Monday. He know that the first half of the week would be a crazy busy one for me. I’d actually would love to see some stats about how many people we dealt with on the first Monday and first Tuesday of the Aussie Open. While I was prepared for the odd grumpy one yesterday it didn’t happen. At least not for me. Although people had to wait they were all in a good enough mood to deal with it. This was yesterday and right now I’m on my way to work again. A new day another long shift. But I’m ready. Ready to greet them with a smile and ‘kill ’em with kindness’ all over again…”

  2. I’ve never thought of kindness in this way. Actually, I’ve really never thought much about kindness itself, per se. Maybe it’s because I’ve never thought of myself as a kind person or because I’d call it consideration instead. Either way, it takes strength to show either characteristic, especially in customer service at your very hot Open. Maybe the spectators had already cooled off by the time they got to you?!

    • Yeah, no chance to cool off before they get to me. I’m in one of the offices located “outside” of the precinct. So while we sit in a box that has AC (fighting the hot air coming in through the windows which need to be open), the customers are outside. And many of them not at the right place because people tend to not read signs…
