Tell Me Something Good #105

Isn’t that the truth… and when we fall we start thinking about getting up again instead of just doing it… So enough now. Let’s get up and move…

It’s easy:

• Mention something that you consider being good in the comments

• Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something good you know will happen soon. Something that makes you feel good.

• Share this post and invite your followers as well.

It before we do, as always, let’s do a little happy dance… even if you are chilling on the sofa…

Are you sure you are done? Are you sure you don’t want to dance a bit longer? It might make you feel good… See! Just another little round… And when you are done, here is what I’d like to share with you today…

“I find it difficult today to be all cheery. Some not so good news in relation to a close friend play with my mind and my feelings. And it’s almost numbing. At the same time though it shows how important it is to live your life to the fullest and create a life you are happy with. Because you really never know what cards you are dealt with. It all can change so suddenly. So live in the now. Enjoy the moments. Don’t be grumpy for too long and with the people you love the most (I know sometimes it’s hard). Look at the positive there is in your life and cherish it. Today the sun is shining. The weather is simply stunning. My son is here with me, my husband and my daughter are out at the moment. We hugged and we kissed. We laughed together already today. There is a lot of love between the four of us and we have a good time together. Little things? Simple things? Maybe. But aren’t they the most important things ever???”

  1. I love the quote. And it’s true about the little things. And about family. I’ve come down with a massive head cold but I’m still grateful for a happy weekend away with my family. Have a good week Sandra.

  2. I love the little dance break! And yes, it is good to find joy in the simple things. I had to get up and do an early shift at work today but I get to leave earlier and spend extra time with my son, so that’s my good for the day!

    • We all need a little dancing 😉 And how amazing is it to spend extra time with the kids. That’s my most important thing too. Quality time with the children.

  4. All that you’ve written here, both copied and original, is appropriate to describe my halting and extended recovery from surgery. Thanks for reminding me to continue to look both ways in life – backwards and forwards!
