It’s been a gorgeous fall day once again today, a bit hazy in the morning but then beautiful and clear for the rest of the day. I took the dogs on a walk in our old neighborhood, the area we lived in right after we moved. It was so beautiful and almost a bit emotional in a way. Our son was so little back then and our daughter was born while we lived there. I went to one of the dog parks we used to go to a lot and there was a little memory sitting behind every corner of this park. So many little smiles on my face while I was doing my rounds.
The world doesn’t stop turning and time doesn’t slow down. In moments like those though, it seems like you’ve been taken right back to those little moments although it all is so very different.
Anyway… it’s Tuesday again and for me this means time for Cee’s amazing Share Your World Challenge. So let’s get to answering some questions, shall we…
Do you use paper money? If so is your money organized sequentially according to denomination?
Yes I do and yes, I usually have it organized smallest to biggest value. And now you make me think why I do that… I think I do that so I can quickly take the amount I need out… maybe… or I’m just a control freak 😉
You are comfortable doing nothing? For long stretches of time?
Not at all. Actually I need to make me sit down and stop. My husband used to make me promise to not do anything when he took the kids out to give me a break when they were younger… I promised and then sat for maybe 15min to then get up and start cleaning and taking care of things that I felt needed to be done. While the idea was to give me a break he felt I was not getting one as I was doing all the chores. But to be honest it felt good to be able to do all the things in peace and quiet…
What is your greatest strength?
I don’t think I should answer this question. Maybe I need to ponder and then confidently tell people what my strengths are. But I believe this should come from people around me as they are the ones who experience it…
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
I appreciate a lot that my family is healthy and that we are so happy. I love how well we all get along although spending so much time together. Maybe that’s why we get along so well, who knows… I’m just happy with my life at the moment. My business is growing, so are my children, and I have time for them and life is “just” good 🙂
