If you would have asked me 20 years ago if I would let my child play with a python I would have looked at you with that look of “are you nuts”. I would not only have said it’s very unlikely but most definitely told you that I would never let my child sit on the floor with a huge python moving around him…
And yet I’ve done it. Multiple times. Because he loves reptiles. They are his passion and by now we have 6 lizards living in our home and some of them will end up being massive. Do we have a snake? Nope! I tell you right now that it’s super unlikely that we will get one. Impossible? Who knows… Unlikely? Oh definitely!!!

You are brave! I would never, ever, ever go near a snake. My children may not mind, but I vehemently avoid looking at them. Thoughts of snakes alone make me break out and feel ill.

I actually like them but def not in my house and sort of prefer not seeing them close up in the wild either..

I like reptiles I used to have 2 bearded dragons. While I don’t mind snakes, I would never have one as a pet. The boys have both held a python though 😁

Little king or gopher snakes are fine, but pythons? Eek! He’s as big as the leg in the photo!
