Tell Me Something Good #112

It’s time to tackle a new week! Monday here we come! I am a strong believer in being in charge of your own happiness. While things from the outside can challenge you it’s entirely up to you how you approach them and how much you let them shape you. Happiness truly come from the inside. So let’s do this! Let’s kick this week off on a positive note:

It’s easy:

• Mention something that you consider being good in the comments

• Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something good you know will happen soon. Something that makes you feel good.

• Share this post and invite your followers as well.

You know it by now! We are not moving any further without a little happy dance. So shake those hips and whatever else you need to shake and dance…

Let’s shake those hips and wiggle around, shimmy and twist and if you want to do a bit of a dance with your friends then have them join in… and once you are done, here is what I’d like to share with you today:

“Last week was a rough one for me. Hence the radio or better blogging silence. I always thought that the crazy old women group dancing in the kitchen (just like the one in the gif) would include me and specific friends of mine. One of them has just passed away. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan. While I’m still grieving of course, I also see so much positive. It makes me happy to have met her. To have had the chance to spend time with her. I’m thankful for all the giggles we had over countless bottles of wine.
There is an interesting side to it all. I know I can grieve as her friend. But at the same time I almost feel bad for it because I can only imagine how hard it is on her husband and kids. Just like we are all there for him and the children, my friends are there for me. They have reached out and check in on me still. This has shown me how much I mean to so many people while I was wondering if my friend ever knew how much she meant to me. And what a beautiful feeling to see how much your friends love you…”

  2. Had a fabulous weekend with friends and great Father’s Day with my honey yesterday. I know it is still hard to lose your friend. You will feel that for a while I think but it will get easier. Peace and blessings ❤

  3. So very sorry for your loss! Id like to think she will be watching you dance in your kitchen with the biggest smile on her face! We had a very successful family vacation and are home safe. And now we are resting for a few weeks until we do it again! That’s my something good. Family Fun! Sending hugs!

  5. I try to look at this a different way. It was a good week, where you remembered good times and friends reminded you they were there. You know if you love your friend that passed … she knew, or you wouldn’t have been such a friend. If you know, she & you, are destined for a better place after you leave this world, then you should be happy for her. You were lucky to both have met & had each other as friends as long as you did. It would be so much worse had you never been friends, so how lucky you were, to have made memories to last a life.
