I’m almost a bit happy to have realized that Cee seems to have taken a break from her Share Your World Challenge… So there is less to catch up on although I was hoping to find more of her Q&A posts as it’s always fun to answer her questions. And then I realized that someone has done the incredible thing and filled in and shared a “Not Cee’s Share Your World” post with some neat questions in it too. So here we go! Lots to answer 😉
Since we are approaching the hottest part of our summer in the northern hemisphere, what’s your favorite ice-cream, frozen yogurt or sorbet flavor? (Those of you who live down under I’m sure you remember what it is like in the hot summer months).
Yeah, now see this is weird for me as I actually just turned the heating up a notch. Apparently we will get some more chilly weather over the next couple of days until it will then hopefully turn into nice spring weather…
So back to your question: I love frozen yogurt and actually like the natural flavor a lot but I def use something to top it up like fresh berries or a berry coulis.
How often do you people watch?
I kind of always do. Whenever there are people to watch. I find it incredibly interesting to observe their body language, behavior and other patterns.
If you had a choice which would be your preference salt water beaches, fresh water lakes, ocean cruise, hot tub, ski resort or desert?
The beach, lakes, ski resort and the desert too. Please don’t make me pick one form those. I love the beach, love lakes and rivers and given that I grew up in a ski resort I love it there too (maybe not really the buzz that can come with it anymore…). I love mountains and forests and I would love to discover more of the deserts in this world. Nature is simply a wonderful and fascinating thing…
In regards to puzzle what’s your choice: jigsaw, crossword, word search, mazes, logic or numeric puzzles, something else, or nothing?
I love to play with all of them but sometimes the results (or better the lack of results) can get frustrating. It helps me to actually switch off my brain from work stuff when I do a crossword puzzle, a word search one or Sudoku. It’s a good little distraction from the day to day grind.
Now, please tell me: Who managed to conquer the rubics cube without taking stickers off???
List at least five favorite treats and it doesn’t necessarily have to be food.
- Chocolate (always!!!)
- A massage
- good glass of wine
- a nice home made meal
- a hug
- a good movie
- a concert
- a wonderful hike
- quality time with the family
- a pat on the back…
What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)
Our dogs… I really love some breads but I have reached the point where I would not chase a breed any longer but head to a rescue shelter and see who is waiting for a forever home and needs it the most. I find it incredibly heartbreaking to see that so many wonderful dogs end up there. And I find it even more heartbreaking to see how many senior dogs are stuck there because nobody wants to adopt them.
Have you ever been in a food fight?
Nope and I will not try to get into one. I find it a waste of food to be honest and I don’t like to waste food at all. So that’s it.
How do you deliver bad news?
Hopefully as gentle as possible…
What (if anything) do you think is beyond the stars?
More stars. I hope it doesn’t stop…
What “redneck” (unsophisticated) activity do you like to do?
I actually have no clue… I don’t think I have any “redneck” activity I do… Maybe I should start with one… Any suggestions?
Is there a scary scene from a movie (or book) you viewed a child that still haunts you?
EVERY single horror movie I thought I have to watch when I was younger and it was considered a part of being cool is still hunting me. The Poltergeist scene with the girl in front of the “snow storm screen” is only one of them…
Then stupid Chucky…
And last (but not least) The Fog!!!
So needless to say that I am NOT watching any movies like the ones mentioned above any longer and will NEVER start again… and now I need to find something to distract me so that I will be able to sleep without nightmares tonight…
Last (rock trivia courtesy of Glyn), which true to form I won’t answer. I wanna see if anyone (besides Glyn) knows the answer: Seal’s ‘Kiss From A Rose’ was the theme from which film?
I’m not sure but was it in a Badman movie? Kind of feels like it was… but hey, it’s a great song really, so no matter what movie it was in it def is worth listing to again… maybe that will help me forget about Poltergeist, Chucky and The Fog again…
