Hello Liebster Award

I’ve said it a couple of times before: Nothing beats being nominated for one of the amazing blogging awards out there. Yes, I agree, they sort of mean “work” when you accept them but it’s nice work.

Thank you so very much, Confessions Of A Reborn Girl, for nominating me. If you don’t know her blog yet, please go and check it out. At least read her answers to the questions she was asked for her award acceptance post. They are truly inspiring, just like the rest of her writings. I just had a quick look at the questions she is asking and I can’t wait to answer them!

Blogger Recognition Award

So thankful for having been rewarded once again. The Bee Writes… has nominated me for The Blogger Recognition Award, an award that I happily accept. I know that many of you out there have decided to go award free. Maybe because the awards and the “rules” attached to them are more or less the same over and over again and I understand that it might feel a bit overwhelming covering it on multiple cases. I think though, that it’s a great way to show a bit more from you as a blogger, to reveal just that tiny little bit extra about you. And it’s for sure a nice appreciative nod we all like from time to time.

Let The Sunshine In

Rule Of Thirds3

There are things in this world that put a smile on my face. One of them is the sun, a beautiful sunrise or sunset. And another one is an award nomination here in the blogging world. What a wonderful token of appreciation, especially if it comes from a lovely person like Chelia, whose blog I’m only about to discover. Now if the two come together and create the Sunshine Blogger Award I simply can’t stop smiling. So let’s do this…

Mystery Blogger Award Here We Go Again

It’s always a wonderful thing to be recognized. Although we of course do not get a real award of trophy but being nominated for one of the many wonderful awards out there is always an honor. For me it symbolizes appreciation and I’d like to say thank you to The Bag Lady for nominating me for another Mystery Blogger Award. A special shout out also goes to the creator of this award, Okoto Enigma who describes her award as follows:

“Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts.  Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates.  They are one of the best out there and they deserve every recognition they get.  This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging and they do it with so much love and passion. – Okoto Enigma

Tell Me Something Good #34

Image result for each morning we are born again buddha

Let’s put some effort into creating a good week and kick start it with a positive thought on your Monday morning. Let’s do it! Let’s kick off the week on a positive note!

It’s easy:

  • Mention something that you consider being good in the comments
  • Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something good you know will happen soon. Something that makes you feel good.
  • Share this post and invite your followers as well.

Before I share my good thing with all of you today, let’s dance! Show me your moves! Come on, you can do it!

Yep, just keep it up. Feels good right. Dance as if nobody’s watching… Go on, just do another round of dancing. There’s never too much dancing. Never. It’s fun…

And once you’re done, here’s what I’d like to share with you today:

“I’m so grateful for the chances I have in my life. Even when it seems nothing is happening there is always something good presenting itself. At the moment a lot is going on in my life and things start to come together. January will be a busy month ones more but rather than everything going back into my normal routine in my life, it will actually continue with new challenges and new chances. And I’m so looking forward to it. This week I’m super thankful for the fantastic team I have at my job, for my family and friends as always but also for you guys out there in my blogging world.

Thanks to Jason over at HarsH ReaLiTy not only for all his posts but also for always providing us with the opportunity to share our links. Thanks to Danny at Dream Big, Dream Often for letting us meet and greet in his virtual world as well and last but not least thanks to Ann at Grubbs n’ Critters for nominating me for another Mystery Blogger Award. Here are my answers to your questions:

  • What the weirdest thing you have experienced in the last 3 months? The behavior of someone I thought was close to me. Not going into details here, sorry. Let me just say: It’s not my husband and it’s none of my children and it’s also none of my good friends.
  • What’s your favorite children’s book? I always loved the Secret Five books and still do.
  • Would you rather live under the sea or on the moon? I would rather live under the sea. I think that there is still plenty hidden down there and there are so many wonderful creatures. As beautiful as the view from the moon would be, I think I might feel lonely up there…
  • You discovered that the child you brought home a year ago was not your own as a result of a mixed-up. What would you do? I would want to find out where my child is now. I would want to know what life it lives. I might want to get in touch with the people who see “my” child as their own. I would need to know that my child lives a good life too. But the child I was with for such a long time is my child, even if not blood related. I would for sure love it so so very much. I doubt I could ever just swap it. And I bet that the other parents would feel the same. So maybe we could make sure to stay in touch. Just to know how our biological kids are doing while we raise the children we grew close to? Honestly, it’s one of those questions you will only have a clear answer to it when in the situation. In theory I would keep the baby, but who knows how I would react if this would be a real situation…
  •  Euthanasia – yes or no and why? I’m very open to this. Growing up in Switzerland it was something that was discussed for many many years. I strongly believe that a person should be allowed to decide if they want to end their lives or not. I believe that if you are in so much pain or if you are about to face a road of no return that you know will be excruciatingly painful then you should be in charge of your own destiny. People who chose this way out have thought about it long and hard. It’s not an easy step. They most likely have talked about it with their loved ones and they know exactly that they don’t really have time left. Give them the chance to be in charge of their life. As it says, it’s your right to die. As much as I believe in a right to live I also believe in the right to die.

Please you all, show them some love too and head over to say hi or share your link at the meet & greet events over at their blogs.

The Mystery Blogger Award

Graphic for the Mystery Blogger Award

There are blogger I frequently interact with who always make me excited when I see their Gravatar popping up. Excited because I know there will be either a good exchange waiting for me, a link to an interesting post being shared or just a pat on the back waiting for me. Rob is one of those bloggers. Not only do I find great posts on his blog but his comments often lead to many thoughts being shared. Today he surprised me with a blog award. And it’s an award that I have not yet received.

Rob, thank you so very much for nominating me. To be honest, this is most likely the biggest compliment in regards to my blog I have ever received! If you are not a follower of Rob’s wonderful, inspiring and motivating blog, that is thought provoking, educational and interesting for sure, please head over there and pay him a visit. You will not be disappointed. So, thanks my friend, I really appreciate it!

Now let’s see what is in for me here… I’m curious…

Real Neat

The beautiful Sasha, who blogs at Sasha’s Writings has nominated me for another Real Neat Blog Award. Thank you so much, my friend, for this pat on my back :-). Please check out her blog, she has a lot of beautiful thoughts to share with us.

I know that many of you decided to go award free with your blogs and maybe wonder why I continue to accept them. The answer is easy: It’s a token of appreciation and most of all it allows me to share a little bit more about myself with you. Most of the award nomination pose questions. Most of the questions are new and give you the chance to share something you might have not thought about sharing before.

Although I sometimes try to get around nominating other bloggers for the award it also provides me with a chance to say thank you to them for supporting my blog. The trick is to pick the bloggers I want to nominate. There are so many out there deserving the award. And sometimes all those options are overwhelming. It’s when I choose to open up the nomination rather than picking a few. It’s what I will do here.

Please leave a comment with the link to a post you especially like. It can be one of your posts or a post of another blogger. Feel free to leave multiple links if you wish. I will read all the posts you share with me and nominate you afterwards. Now let’s get to it…
