Yes, I am! Totally!
I’m currently refreshing my skills by taking part in blogging101 again and it has been fun so far. Yesterday was all about blogging events which I find pretty cool. Today it’s about branding. This word has always slightly scared me as I thought branding would be too much for my blog.
I do understand that my blog is kind of like a brand. But then it doesn’t feel like it to me. Anyway. Reading through the pointers I had to admit that my blog ticks a couple of those boxes and it happened just like that.
I just figured before I let you know where I am at, I tell you a little bit more about a little (blog) event I’m currently running. In a way it’s not really a blog event, as it’s not really happening on my blog. But it’s related to my blog. So everyone can sign up if you are interested:

Yep, it has started last Monday but you can still sign up. And you will get all 21 of my messages still.
So back to the branding and being out there: Did you know that you can find me on Facebook as well? Scroll down and find the direct link to it in my sidebar. Or to make it simple just head over here: http://www.facebook.com/amommasview and I’m on Twitter too!
We’ve done it… And also what a shame this is over! I truly enjoyed blogging 101 and signed up for 201. I think you all are great and you have so much to say or to show to your followers. Keep it up!
Wow! After I got nominated for “One Lovely Blog Award” and “Liebster Award” a couple of days ago, I am thrilled to let you know that five more bloggers nominated me for those awards (4 for the “Lovely Blog Award” and one for the “Liebster Award”). I know this sounds a bit weird, but I really really hope I did not forget anybody. Otherwise please send me a big shout out!
I really enjoy doing this because I really enjoyed every single one of those posts and blogs so much. But it is also really hard. I want to keep the number down to 10-15 but there are so many great posts out there… So here are my picks of the week. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Wow, this is pretty exciting to be nominated again for an award. I really appreciate it. It seems like some people out there really like my blog. And this makes me so happy 🙂
Thank you so much, Lifestyles with Lia, for nominating me for the Liebster Award.
Here are the rules for accepting the Liebster Award:
- Post the award on your blog (Done)
- Thank the blogger who presented this award and link back to their blog (Done, and please go check it out!)
- Write 11 random facts about yourself (Oh my…)
- Nominate 11 bloggers who you feel deserve this award and who have less than 200 followers.
- Answer 11 questions posted by the presenter and ask your nominees 11 questions
Tidlidim’s post is all about standing up for yourself and what you believe in. No matter the consequences. Just a great post and I hope you will check out Loony’s Biz other posts as well. Sure worth while… He is a pastor and a dad and he nails it in his post. John Pavlovitz has a great way to explain that we should support our kids no matter what. Shame some other people don’t. Check out some of the comments if you want to… I guess all of moms ask ourselves this question at least once. Are we good enough? Tryingsohardtobegood describes it very well in her blog post. Can cheating be excused? Read what The Mad Musings Of Scruples McGee thinks about this issue. And I think all moms can relate with All the sunny mummy days when she describes the random things you face during pregnancy. This is a blog I really enjoy discovering. I like how Flooding August writes and what she is telling us. Still discovering myself. So maybe you like to have a go to. Maybe some of us have been there too… I love following Sincerely, Jess story. Why wouldn’t you watch football? Adoptingjames gives you a couple of reasons. Why would you stay in a violent relationship? Stories from the belly gives you an insight about the why. And to end this on a lighter note: This is a blog which makes me feel good every time I stop by. Send Sunshine has some nice and short tips on how to make you feel better.
Thank you all for inspiring me this week. For telling your story and for making me smile or feel better. Keep it up 🙂
We had a long day today. Driving to a destination we haven’t been yet. A little getaway for a long weekend kind of thing. What a great trip it was so far.
Thank you so much “Send Sunshine” and “Loony’s Biz” for the nomination to the “One Lovely Blog Award”! How exciting!
I was wondering if I could find out a little bit about where this award comes from and I found this, which I found interesting.
So here are the Nomination Rules:
- Thank and link back to the person who nominated you
(Done and again, thank both of you so much!)
- List the rules and display the award
- Include seven facts about yourself
- Nominate around 15 other bloggers and let them know about the award
- Follow the blogger who nominated you (if not already!)
Hey, I am not sure how to start this post. I would so love to write a lot about the why and so on but I sort of don’t find the right words. So in short: I do not surf the Internet. But I for sure have a couple of “places” I frequently visit. And here are the links for you to go and check it out if you like to.
I thought I will make it into a habit to mention a couple of blogs I especially liked at the end of every week. But it is not easy! So many great blogs or posts I’ve read this week. There are so many out there! I remember someone (don’t remember who) saying that he/she doesn’t appreciate “ghost followers”, followers who follow you but never comment or never really engage with your blog…
