Beautiful…
Beautiful…
But I am yours, yours, yours.
If you love me, make your mind up, make your mind up.
I am yours, yours, yours.
If you love me, make your mind up, make your mind up.
So I’ll leave with an open hand, your grip pulls me back again.
We’re all together lost and know it.
And you say what you mean today but tomorrow’s a different way
The stories change but reasons are there.
Now you hold your tongue, you’re trying not to come undone.
But all I need is one
So baby speak your words and take me somewhere.
‘Cause I am yours, yours, yours.
If you love me, make your mind up, make your mind up.
I am yours, yours, yours.
If you love me, make your mind up, make your mind up.
You wanted me to let you,
You wanted me to let you in
Well I tried, I tried, oh
You wanted me to let you,
You wanted me to let you in.
Well I tried, there ain’t no way else to tell you
That I am yours, yours, yours.
If you love me, make your mind up, make your mind up.
I am yours, yours, yours.
If you love me, make your mind up, make your mind up.
‘Cause I am yours.
Although I’ve participated in two very similar challenges before (see here and here), I’ve decided to accept Vancouver Visions nomination and give it another go. I guess it’s the nature of this challenge that I truly love. There can never be too much love in this world. So do it, spread the word and spread the love! I know I’ve only just hosted a meet & greet but I was wondering if you would be up to share your favorite post or quote about love in the comments to this post? If you do, please consider yourself one of my nominees for this award or challenge.
Love and music are so closely related. So many emotions involved in both of them. There is this “our song” thing and I wonder if the kids nowadays still have it? Back in the days we used to sit in front of our stereo mixing tapes for the person we were in love. Do you remember? All those hours spent and sometimes it was just a little bit of a nightmare when there suddenly wasn’t enough time left on one side of the tape for that one song…
I thought I share one of my most favorite love songs with you. And I’m wondering which songs would make your top 3 Love songs? Also, if you have a beautiful love story to tell, why not sharing it with me in my feature ‘Couples’? All you have to do is send me an email to amommasview@gmail.com and I will post it and link it back to you. You find a number of amazing love stories told by fellow bloggers here.
Enjoy…

When we are younger and our relationship is fresh, things are so much different then after years of living together and bringing up your kids. Things shift from being more dynamic, more spontaneous and more passionate to being just normal.

Describe what “Love” means to you in 150 words or less… What a difficult challenge. Not because I would not have a clue what “Love” means to me, but rather to describe it in 150 words or less!
For me “Love” means:
Seeing someone and falling for this person, knowing it’s real. The combination of butterflies in your belly and at the same time experiencing that amazing feeling of having arrived.
Realizing that the person you just kissed is your soulmate and knowing that you mean the same to him.
Constant support in whatever you do, even if you are not on the same page sometimes. It means knowing that there is someone who accepts you for who you are and loves all the weaknesses and strengths you have.
Picking each other up when you are down.
Laughing and crying together.
Melting with someone on so many levels.
And it also means looking in your little babies eyes and feeling an unknown depth of a feeling you only thought you understand. It’s what you feel when you smell your babies head, when you hug your child, when you kiss them and hear them laugh. The feeling you have when you try to comfort them when they are sad.
The warmth in your heart, when you watch your kids sleep.
Love… One words, so many feelings… Never enough words to describe a feeling as strong as “Love”.
So much more to say but already over the limit re word count… 😉

There is one question bugging me for quite a while now: Can you love all your kids equally?
Although “made with the same ingredients” your little ones end up being totally different persons with most probably completely different personalities. And therefor it is not really surprising if I just put it out there and say: No, your love for your kids will not be the same for all of them!
It is not nice to be in A World Alone. So Dear Darlin’ this is for You:
Here I am with Trembling Hands, Waiting For You. I am so Happy that You Found Me! Because You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves you! You are Strong and Beautiful and I hope you Stay with me forever!

I recently wrote a post about ‘Tom & Jerry’, mainly for my daughter but the comments I got on this were simply amazing. And then, only a day after I found a post that kind of went in a similar direction. Inspired by Young And Twenty‘s post I came up with a couple more of my kids favorite movies, which obviously have a deeper message:
