AGE REVERSAL

Wow, that’s a great post with a really great question at the end… I wonder what you would do? Head to the original post to see my answer in the comments…

rixlibris

We see so many ads for age reversal (creams, potions, lotions, etc.) all of which are supposed to make us feel or look younger. Just suppose.

Just suppose that the whiz kids at “Wonky Wonder Works” lab came up with a true age reversing pill, a capsule that would actually reverse the aging process?

Here’s the set up; Everyone is given his or her pill at age 18 and it’s a once in a lifetime deal. You go through your life in the normal fashion, keeping the pill in reserve. You can take it anytime you choose but when you do you began to grow younger, all the way back to being a single cell and then disappearing.

Keep in mind that the world would go on as normal, continuing to advance as your physical being becomes increasingly younger. You would still be subject to the same chances of illnesses…

What We’d Do With a Week of Invisibility, in 6 Words

A great challenge and some fun replies to the question what you would do with a week of invisibility… I wonder what you guys would do?

Just a dad ...

Being invisible might suck.

6 words graphicI’m just being real here. My luck, I’d become invisible and walk in front of a cement truck. Or a kale truck even. Wait, are there kale trucks? I’d think that’d be counterproductive to use fossil fuels to deliver y’all’s favorite lib snack.

I took to the web and asked strangers, friends, and strange blogger friends, as I’m wont to occasionally do, to answer a prompt, in six words. Who does that? Ernest Hemingway, for one.

Y’all, for 23,902. (Roughly.) If you could be invisible for a week, what would you do? That’s what I asked. The answers? They were out of sight.

Feeling tiny down under

This post speaks so much to me. Yes! This is truly what Australia is all about. There is so much to discover and I’m sure happy to call this wonderful country my home.

Out an' About

I love planning a road trip, the anticipation and research, the sense of adventure and finally the freedom of being on the road. Next year, all going well and as I’ve mentioned before, we’ll be heading north to the Red Centre and the Kimberleys.

Thinking about the epic distances we’ll be covering makes me realise how tiny we are in the grand scheme of things in this vast land.

The Rant I Promised You

There are posts out there never making it to my Picks Of The Week list. Simply because it can’t wait. I can’t wait sharing them. This one is one of them. Please read if you have not done so yet. It’s a powerful and emotional post that sheds light on many issues that are left in the dark…

Meet and Greet

The day is here! So here are a few rules/tips to get the most out of the Meet & Greet this Halloween week:

  • Leave a comment with your favorite Halloween memory you have, of either your childhood, or your own kids? Any fun traditions or costumes?
  • Leave a link to your blog, or a specific post.  Write a little something explaining what your blog tends to be about.
  • If you have a link of someone else’s blog or post, feel free to share that in the comment as well.
  • And share this post! Re-blog, tweet, pin, whatever you feel like doing! The more visitors there are, the more participation there will be, and the more exposure there is to all of these great bloggers.
  • And last, but not least, check out these great posts from fellow bloggers!
