TellMe Something Good #92

I know I’m late to my Monday party once again but, boy, what a Monday it was!!! A Monday when you just do your best to keep going and do one thing after another for hours and hours. Don’t get me wrong. It was a fantastic day but when you get to the point where you don’t see faces anymore you know you’ve tried to help heaps of people… it’s still time to kick off the week on a positive note. So let’s do it!

It’s easy:

• Mention something that you consider being good in the comments

• Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something good you know will happen soon. Something that makes you feel good.

• Share this post and invite your followers as well.

Before I share my good thing let’s do another happy dance. As you know I love my happy dances and so I decided to just keep doing it. Hope you’re having heaps of fun!

And when you are ready I’d like to share my positive thought with you.

“Kill ’em with kindness my husband said Sunday evening in preparation for my Monday. He know that the first half of the week would be a crazy busy one for me. I’d actually would love to see some stats about how many people we dealt with on the first Monday and first Tuesday of the Aussie Open. While I was prepared for the odd grumpy one yesterday it didn’t happen. At least not for me. Although people had to wait they were all in a good enough mood to deal with it. This was yesterday and right now I’m on my way to work again. A new day another long shift. But I’m ready. Ready to greet them with a smile and ‘kill ’em with kindness’ all over again…”

It’s a special Monday once again as it’s most likely no longer Monday anywhere in this world… This time I’ve properly missed the ball. And I do blame it on balls. Yellow ones to be precise and my annual gig for one of the most amazing events on this planet.

Nevertheless: It’s still early enough into the week. So let’s kick off this week on a positive note!

It’s easy:

“My favourite time of the year is back. I’m back in my little January bubble, working my casual job, interacting with heaps of people, catching the train to work at 4am and although feeling exhausted also being totally energised. This month gives me back a little bit of my past while also gifting me with a little bit of my future…”

It’s a very special Monday today and I’m tempting to say “I come to you from your future” as over on your side it’s still 2017…

Happy New Year, my friends! May it be filled with happy moments and wonderful experiences.

As so every Monday let’s kick off this week on a positive note and by doing that this time let’s actually kick off 2018 on a positive note!

It’s easy:

• Mention something that you consider being good in the comments

• Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). And when you are ready I’d like to share my positive thought with you. And today I will do it just that little bit different. I will leave you with the following:

This time I have a wonderful excuse for my post only being up today (Tuesday on our side of the world already): It was Christmas yesterday and so I haven’t been on the blog. Not just because we had a wonderful day as a family but because I spend all day cooking and the bit that I didn’t spend in the kitchen I just chilled.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too and what a beautiful way to start the week: With a holiday and most likely spending it with people you like and some beautiful surprises.

It’s easy:

• Mention something that you consider being good in the comments

• Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). And when you are done here is what I’d like to share with you today:

“Let’s be honest, we all love a nice present. But making someone happy is so much more than just giving a gift, even if it is the perfect gift. It’s about giving a little bit of yourself, listening to what the person really appreciates and acting accordingly. It’s finding that one thing that makes the person happy. I was lucky enough to have experienced all of it. From nice gifts to gifts from the heart (and the combination of it). Sometimes it’s the little things where the most thoughts go into. Christmas is amazing. Cooking a meal for people you love is amazing. Sitting at the table enjoying that meal with the ones you love is amazing. Watching the lights flicker is beautiful. May we all carry that feeling into the new year and through the many moments that seem a little bit harder than others…”

And I did it again! Somehow I tend to ignore it’s Monday recently and then realize on Tuesday that it’s actually already Tuesday… Sign of age? Maybe… or maybe it’s the fact that I work a business where I have my own hours and therefor no routine I have to follow. Same in regards to homeschooling, although the kids have done school yesterday… so maybe I’m just getting old… In any case, it’s still Monday somewhere (thank God for the Northern Hemisphere…). So let’s do it. Let’s start the week off on a positive note.

It’s easy:

• Mention something that you consider being good in the comments

Just keep going for as long as you like 😀 And when you are ready, here is what I’d like to share with you today:

I just feel so super blessed with my life right now. The kids are wonderful people, we have a beautiful home, amazing friends and each other. The weather is great, almost a bit too hot today, but hey, the beach is close by… So many things are adding up. For some they all are considered little things but for me it’s those things that have a huge influence on how your life goes. It’s hot outside but the clouds are building and a thunderstorm is predicted. They also issued an asthma storm warning. And once again I feel lucky. Lucky that nobody in my family suffers from asthma. So if you are struggling with something today, try to see all the good things that are in your life. Small or not. But if you pay attention to them you will feel better.”

Time for a positive start into the week. After all it’s still Monday somewhere in this world, so I’m not completely wrong here… Forgive me for the radio silence but I just needed some days to recover and get organized again. I guess traveling for a couple of weeks throws you out of your routine… no wonder… Anyway, I’m back! Let’s do it. Let’s start the week off on a positive note.

It’s easy:

“Summer has arrived and spending time on the beach and in the water feels so great. Sometimes little things like feeling sand between your toes and listening to the waves make you feel like you’re on top of the world…”

“You know all the things you always wanted to do? Go do them! I couldn’t have found a better quote to start this post with today. I’m settling into my normal routine. Normal might be a bit of a big word as there won’t be a normal routine over the next 8 weeks with Christmas coming up and then my usual casual work gig. But I’m back home again and getting into the swing of cleaning again… and other things. Everything feels so much better though. Better because I am so content. So happy. Traveling truly fuels you. And we all agreed that our trip was a trip of a lifetime. An experience you can not top that quick. We saw so much, we learned so much, we enjoyed so much, we had so much fun. We spent time together and grew wiser together. For so long we were talking about taking this trip. We always wanted to. And then we did. We jumped right into it. And boy was it worth it. I know I will be able to get energy from this for a long time to come. So all the things you always wanted to do? Think about them. And then do it!”

For some reason this post got stuck in my Draft folder… a bit late but the week is still young, so go and have fun with it 🙂

Time for a positive start into the week. While Monday has slipped away from me on my side of the World it’s still in full swing on the other side. So still time to start the week off on a positive note.

“Our trip is almost over. Justtwo days left until we will board a plane taking us Down Under again. It has been amazing. Actually I kind of lack words to describe how wonderful it was. All the places we saw, the things we did and learned... And most of all being able to spend an additional couple of days with your wonderful friend who is most definitely part of our family. My heart is full. I’m incredibly grateful for everything we got to experience over the last couple of weeks. This world is such an amazing place. So many beautiful and awe inspiring things out there. Can’t wait for the next adventure, no matter how long it might take…

Time for a positive start into the week. While Monday is almost over on my side of the globe it’s only just about to start in other parts. So let’s do this.

Just keep going for as long as you like 😀 And when you are ready, here is what I’d like to share with you today:

“We spent the day up North in the cold. It was a beautiful day, with a stunning hike with simply amazing views. While we were all rugged up the cold wind got to us in the beginning. Soon though the cold was forgotten. Maybe it was the view or the fact that we were more sheltered. In any case the day was simply amazing. While out there in the cold I mentioned to my husband how much I miss the extreme cold but I also mentioned that I would never want to let go of the ocean so close by ever again. While I miss certain things from my past, I don’t want to give up the ones I have in my life now. Definitely something to be thankful for…”

Are you having fun? Yes? Then keep dancing. Just dance as if no one is watching you (most likely nobody is anyway as their eyes are glued on their screens 😜). Just dance, enjoy yourself, have fun. Be happy!

And when you are done, here is what I’d like to share with you today:

“We spent the most amazing time in a city we’ve never been to visiting our friend we haven’t seen for many years. Not only was it great to discover a new place together with a local, but reconnecting with someone so dear and realising how close we all are despite not having seen each other for so long was simply amazing. Now we’re off to new adventures with memories made and a friendship with even deeper roots in our hearts…”
