Tell Me Something Good #133

Hello my lovely blogging friend. It’s still Monday somewhere in this world and the week is still young anyway. So let’s not waste too much time and kick this week off on a positive thought 🙂

It’s easy:

• Mention something that you consider being good in the comments

• Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something good you know will happen soon. Something that makes you feel good.

• Share this post and invite your followers as well.

You know it by now! We are not moving any further without a little happy dance. It really doesn’t matter which style of dancing you like. Just do it. Just dance! Maybe you dance with a group of friends… even if they are different than you, or just by yourself. In any case: Have some fun! There apparently is a study proving that you immediately feel better if you start jumping and wiggling around. So that has to be the same thing with dancing, right?

So wiggle and jump, shake and shimmy and when you are done here is what I’d like to share with you today. And it’s totally different than my usual shares. Because it comes in the form of a music video. Just because this song makes me feel so so SO good 🙂

Tell Me Something Good #101

Isn’t that the truth! No day really sucks! It’s what we make of it that counts!

So let’s do it! Let’s kick off this week on a positive note.

It before we do, as always, let’s do a little happy dance…

Another round? Sure! Just go for it! Dance like nobody’s watching and when you are done here is what I like to share with you today:

“Currently enjoying one of my favourite views, taking a break from working a job that doesn’t feel like work at all. So thankful for the opportunity this provides me with. Building my business while I can be on a vacation actually, far away from home and having a blast with the kids. To be honest: It feels so much more like a hobby.

I remember a close friend of mine and myself having a little break at work and daydreaming about sitting on an exotic beach while at the same time working out businesses. I remember how we said ‘wouldn’t it be great if you could just be anywhere in this world and work your business from your laptop… one day we will get there and one day technology will help us do it.’ Back then the idea of working it from a smartphone was not even born yet. I can’t stop thinking of my friend and that moment. The moment we dreamt of making a four hour work week working it from wherever we want to be a reality…

Especially now, while this is my reality. Now that I can choose if I work 4, 10, 15 or more hours per week, doing something I love and do it from places I go. Maybe that’s why I don’t have issues with Monday’s anymore…”

Question of the Day – 9/22/16

Danny poses many great questions in his Question of the Day feature. This one once more started a big thought process in me.

My response: Most definitely. Otherwise you lose yourself in the goals of someone else.

I strongly believe this. If we don’t have goals we will be pulled into someone else’s “river”, a “river” we are not supposed to be in. The currents in that river will drain our energy and eventually we will end up being a shade of ourselves.

So set your eyes on a goal, chase it, invest yourself and keep swimming in your river instead of someone else’s…

Is it important to have goals?

Your Stories – My Angel! By Danny

A little while ago I read this beautiful love letter (what else could you possibly call it) on Dream Big, Dream Often. I couldn’t help but ask Danny if he would share his love story with me for ‘Couples’. Much to my delight he said yes and here, ladies and gentlemen, is the love story of one of my favorite bloggers out there and his beautiful wife.

I love a good love story, so if you have one to tell, please don’t be shy. Send it to me (amommasview@gmail.com) so I can share it with my readers on this blog. There are many beautiful stories you can have a look at already listed in ‘Couples’. Just head over and enjoy reading them. But now, let’s find out how Danny met his beautiful Evelina…
