It’s a very special Monday today and I’m tempting to say “I come to you from your future” as over on your side it’s still 2017…
Happy New Year, my friends! May it be filled with happy moments and wonderful experiences.
As so every Monday let’s kick off this week on a positive note and by doing that this time let’s actually kick off 2018 on a positive note!
• Mention something that you consider being good in the comments
• Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something good you know will happen soon. Something that makes you feel good.
• Share this post and invite your followers as well.
So before I share my good thing let’s do another happy dance. As you know I love my happy dances and so I decided to just keep doing it. Hope you’re having heaps of fun!
And when you are ready I’d like to share my positive thought with you. And today I will do it just that little bit different. I will leave you with the following:
We just said goodbye to the last year, the old year. While the past months still seem fresh it’s now about focusing on what the new year will bring. Starting it off with a photo challenge with the task to highlight something that is peaceful seems like the best way to do it.
Here is why I chose the pictures above for this challenge:
I found this poem in one of my friends Facebook posts today and I thought it’s a good way to start the new year (or for you guys to end it as you are most likely only counting down now…). A beautiful advice for the new year to come…
We’re there. The old year has just passed right now and the new year has begun. I know I said that I feel we should not focus so much on the change of the year to make changes. But I would still love to share a little New Year’s Eve advice with you. It’s something I saw last year and it stuck to me as I think it’s a great little advice:
Do not move on to 2017 without letting go of something significant from 2016:
An old idea, label, habit, fear, concern of ego. Let go to free up the whitespace for something new to enter…
I wish you all the strength and ability to let go of something significant to free yourself up again. And of course I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2017…
My dear blog world friends
This will be a different post. A post full of links. Full of links to beautiful stories. Something I believe we all need.
2014 is coming to an end and usually at this time of the year the TV stations bombard us with an overview of what moved the world over the last 12 months. Most of the times we will see pictures of wars, riots, fights. Maybe sometimes some good news, mainly from the world of sports.
I will try to do a similar thing here. But instead of mentioning Ebola, MH370 or MH17, Robin Williams or all the war going on again and still in this world, I decided to highlight only the positive things of 2014.
