How You Should Dress Today

Just a quick reminder about how you should dress today when leaving the house…

This made me laugh so hard. Remember when you first watched that movie and tablets like the iPad, handless and wireless video games, 3D Television, video conferencing, super thin TV’s on the wall, families eating a meal together but totally focused on their devices, watching multiple TV channels at once and hover boards seemed such a crazy idea? And now look at us… Predictions they got right when making those movies.

Blast From The Past – Fly On The Wall

I just had a discussion with a friend of mine about if we would want to travel back in time and what we would love to witness. It’s an interesting question actually, one that I have thought about a couple of time and have actually written a post about triggered by a Daily Prompt.

There are a couple of things I would have loved to watch. This one is only one of them. I wonder if you have ever heard about this myth?

What The Future May Hold

I get granted the power to predict the future but in return I lose one day of my life every time I actually predict the future. Would I use this power at all?

The answer to this question is pretty simple to me: No!

I would never give up a day in my life to see what the future may hold. I simply don’t want to know. I feel that we involve ourselves way to often in asking “what if” or worrying about the future. The future is something we cannot change. As much as we want to, we won’t be able to. It will simply happen.

One-Way Street

“Congrats! You are the owner of a new time machine. The catch? It comes in two models, each traveling one way only: The past OR the future. Which do you choose and why?”

I figured I might try to use one of the Daily Prompts for a change today, especially because I like this question a lot.

After thinking about it for a little while I have the following answer: I don’t want to travel back in time, as I would not change anything really. Mainly because as we all know from all those movies about traveling back in time, that if we change something small, something major will change as well. And I don’t want that to happen 😉

But I also don’t want to travel to the future, as it might freak me out. Do I really want to see how it looks like? No. Not yet. And honestly, I will see the future I am supposed to see. And I think that will be enough.

So as I said in a comment to Tidlidim before: I would probably try to sell it. So now it is all about figuring out for which one people would pay more… And I am not so sure about this… I would probably choose the traveling back in time machine as so many people always talk about what they would do or visit if they could travel back in time.

What do you think? Which one do you think you could sell easier?
