I’m not too impressed, really. Diamonds on Earth is not really that valuable, not rare, and they hold no real economic value. They’re expensive simply because the distribution is tightly controlled.

You know what, that’s true. And still they are beautiful. When I saw this I actually wondered if diamonds would mean the same to us if they would fall from the sky, like rain drops and I doubt it.

I like the feeling of raindrops falling on my face as I walk through the countryside by the bank of the river. I seriously doubt I’d be able to enjoy a rain of diamonds. First drop touch my head and I’d very likely be dead. 😉
