It’s time again for my favorite Q&A. A fun challenge that gets you to think a little bit deeper, maybe different and share that tiny little bit more about you and your world. Week after week Cee invites us over to answer some fun questions. The challenge is all about having fun. I’m very much looking forward to answering them but also to read her answers and other bloggers Share Your World posts. It lets you discover more of them and sometimes really fun exchanges develop out of those posts.

What goal are you working on now (your goal can be something fun or extremely serious.  Have fun with this question)?
Right now I’m actually working on building a business that I can work from home, my terms, while spending quality time with my children. I want to make it big enough so they can then take as much as possible out of it too. Working on a dream basically 😉

What is one thing you’re glad you tried but would never do again?
I spent the last 10min thinking about what to mention here. I have not lived a crazy life. I have not done crazy stunts or stupid things. And so it’s very hard to think of something that I’m glad I tried but would never do again. There are things that I would never do again because they were stupid in a sense. Like when I was a child sneaking out the Swiss Army Knife and trying to cut an ice block out of a hard snow wall and holding it the wrong way. I basically pushed the blade back close but my finger was between the blade and the red part, where the blades go in…

There was a lot of blood a tendon that was divided in two parts and heaps of tears… One surgery an many years later I still shiver thinking back to that day and it’s one of the moments that is imprinted in my memory… Stupid thing for sure but definitely not something I liked doing (playing with the knife). But it was a beautiful winter day.

Did you choose your profession or did it choose you?
The job I did and I guess the one I’m working on now did definitely choose me. It was not my intention to work in media. Never. I actually wanted to become a lawyer and studied for this for a while but then my little side gig became more and more fun and also busier. I enjoyed it so much that I made the decision to give it a go. No regrets.

Have you ever gotten lost?
Again a question that made me think for a long time. The only time I clearly remember to have felt like I was lost was in a parking garage after going to the movies at a huge mall in Brazil and not remembering where we had parked the car. Not even the level we were on… Although we weren’t lost, our car was for a while… We then just went from level to level and walked around the entire parking area until we found it. Thankfully it was on one of the first levels we checked out. Otherwise we would have spent many more hours there…

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Just once again for having my family. For my children to be the people they are and are shaping into. For my husband who always supports me (and grounds me again when I lose touch). For all of my real friends, who love me for who I am. For the life I’m living and for what’s still to come 🙂

  1. Fun to read your answers. Getting lost brought to mind a phrase I’ve heard many times. Indian not lost, tepee lost. I have lost my car in parking lots a couple of times. My sister did it once and had the security team drive her around till they found it. Embarrassing and a little scary. 🙂 Have a great week.
