Tell Me Something Good #12

I hope you had a fantastic weekends and lots of positive things to share today. I can’t tell you enough how much these Tell Me Something Good comments of yours make me smile. They actually give me lots of energy for the new week. So please keep it coming!

It would make me super happy if you would share the link to this on your blogs or write a post about something that made you feel especially good this week and link it back to this post. I think a lot of people need something positive to start off the week. So why not make them come over and read lots of positive things or make them think about that one positive moment? Sometimes it truly only takes one thing to make you feel better. It’s something I learned a long time ago: When you go to bed, no matter how bad your day was, try to come up with one thing that makes your day a good day or even the best day ever. And then think about this one thing. You will immediately feel a very different kind of energy.

Before we start: How about a virtual hug? I love hugs, so here we go:

Are you done with hugging? Are you sure? Go ahead, do another round. We are in no rush… and when you are ready, let’s get back to telling me something good:

  • Mention something that you consider being good in the comments
  • Or write a post about it on your blog (please link it to this page so I don’t miss out and to be sure that everyone gets to read it share the link in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something you are looking forward to. Something that makes you feel good. Whatever comes to your mind, as long as it’s good!
  • Share this post and invite your followers to take part in it too.

This is about sharing something positive.

I know for most of you guys reading this post, today is a public holiday. Actually a very special one. You will be celebrating July 4th and I hope you will have a great time. Please remember what it’s all about. Make it your day, be kind, remember the most important values. And simply have a good time!

And here’s what I’d like to share with you today:

“It’s school holidays over here. Not as long as in the Northern Hemisphere but hey, we take what we get, right? We spent the week hiking and arranging play dates for the kids (and for us adults too). There’s nothing better than spending time with friends and seeing your kids having a great time too.”

  2. What’s good is crawling into your bed after a long day and you don’t have to be at work the next day. That always makes me smile.

  3. An anonymous, kind soul gifted a family vacation to Colorado for the kids and myself. I had already saved and planned for one after next week since last summer was spent with my son having and recovering from brain surgery. So, now we have two vacations this year! I can’t wait to tell them! I am beyond grateful for the kindness of strangers! 🙂

  5. Hugs back at ya. One of the best things that happened this weekend is still happening….that is me at the keyboard connecting with my creative side while the house sleeps. It has been a long while I wrote and I am getting the high from it. Life is beautiful.
Happy July 4th to you all. Enjoy your holidays. In less than two hours, I have to start preparing my kids for school. #Motherhood rocks. all the love from Nigeria.
