Let’s do this. Let’s kick off this week with a positive thought. By sharing something good, something that made you happy or you are looking forward to .
It’s easy:
- Mention something that you consider being good in the comments
- Or write a post about it on your blog (please don’t forget the pingback if you do so I don’t miss out and also share the link to it in the comments below). Something good that happened to you recently, or something good you will experience in a little while, or something good you know will happen soon. Something that makes you feel good.
- Share this post and invite your followers as well.
Before I’m going to share my good thing with you this week, I would like to invite you to celebrate with me. Just simply celebrate you, or your good looks, your voice, your dancing, your smile, your fantastic ideas, your unbelievable charm, your smart answers or the comments you are going to make soon on this post. What ever you want to celebrate, just do it.
Can’t believe you think you’re done already?! I think we should go on. Like celebrating that it’s still the weekend where you are or that it’s Monday already over here. Or that you are heading into the warmer months while we are heading towards the colder ones. There is always something to celebrate… So I ask you again: Are you sure you are done? Oh well, okay then. Here is what I’d like to share with you today:
“We had a great catch up with friends we haven’t seen for ages yesterday. They have been through a lot recently and I wasn’t sure how “light” our lunch would end up being. But as always it ended up being about great conversation, fantastic stories, lots of giggles and a deep feeling of being great friends. And I had a haircut last week which has nothing to do with our catch up but it’s been so long since I had my hair cut that it really made me feel special, especially yesterday when I felt comfortable enough to have my hair out instead of wearing it in a ponytail as usual…”

I am back on WordPress. I took a pretty long hiatus to get settled after moving. I also started training for my October half marathon. Things are good 🙂 Shared this!

We’re back from our travels safe and sound. Maggie was pleased to see us and seems to have settled down from all the stress of late which is a definite positive thing!

I’m enjoying a really wet, rainy day. The view of the mountain comes and goes as the sun plays hide and seek with the clouds. I’m also sitting near the outlet that caught fire a week ago and being alert for a burning smell.

Hope you will not have to extinguish a fire and can enjoy the show nature puts on for you. xoxo

Our electricity was off about two hours. I texted a neighbor working in town, and she notified the company that our neighborhood was out. When she came home, a tree was across the road. Some neighbor appeared with a chainsaw, and she made it home.

I made a (virtual) thing. I’m working on making it a virtually bigger thing. I blogged a bit about it a while ago, (https://willowscottling.wordpress.com/2017/03/29/a-small-brag/) but it’s still a work in progress. Feels good to be working on something again. 🙂

My 8 year old decided he wanted to cook the family dinner last night, and it was edible. He was so proud of himself and has decided that he’s going to own his own restaurant when he grows up. Made my heart smile.

Hahaha. Love it! I have one like that in the family too. He actually does really well with cooking and baking so might have a career there. Just not sure how well he can handle the rough approach in a commercial kitchen…

Love it when kids want to help in the kitchen. My 9 year old likes to help me make spaghetti 🙂
